DefMin Tilvar: The Army will continue to acquire high-performance military equipment and technique

The minister of national defence, Angel Tilvar has discussed in Berlin with the representatives of the Romanian companies in the aeronautical sector who were presented at the profile exhibitions and ILA 2024 about the cooperation solutions in the domain of production and business with the other participating companies, as well as about the promotion of their own products on an international level.   "As I said at the BSDA 2024 exhibition in Bucharest, the defence industry is particularly important for the Ministry of National Defence," the Defence Minister said.   "We have a very good cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and together we are looking for the best solutions to make the most of the opportunities offered to Romanian companies by the military procurement programmes. In today's complex security environment, in which Romania's strategic efforts are focused on increasing defence capabilities at the national and allied levels, the Army will continue to acquire high-performance military equipment and techniques that will ensure the capabilities needed to fulfil the missions and commitments undertaken towards NATO and Romanian citizens," Tilvar concluded.
