Electricity prices rose the most in November, up 62.36% year-on-year, but with a decrease of 2.52% compared with the previous month, followed by district heating, which increased 18.8% annually, and rail transport, up 18.59% year-on-year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published last Friday.In the food products category, notable annual price increases were recorded for coffee, up 20.5%, and fresh fruit, up 15.13% in November 2025 compared with November 2024. Price decreases were recorded year-on-year for potatoes, down 9.69%, and dried beans and other legumes, down 2.38%. Month-on-month, in November the largest increases were observed for coffee, up 1.2%, and beef, up 0.9%. Price decreases were recorded for citrus and other southern fruits, down 2.03%, and potatoes, down 1.29%.Regarding non-food goods, the biggest annual increases included, alongside electricity and district heating, books, newspapers, and magazines, up 10.24%. No annual price decreases were recorded. Compared with the previous month, the largest increases were for gas, up 2.81%, and knitwear, up 1.58%. Price decreases were observed for district heating, down 4.05%, and electricity, down 2.56%.For services, significant annual price increases were recorded for rail transport, up 18.59%, other industrial services, up 17.02%, and auto, electronics, and photo repairs, up 16.32%. Lower prices were recorded in air transport, down 3.54%.Month-on-month in November, prices rose for postal and telecom services, up 1.66%, and for clothing and footwear manufacture and repair services, up 1.59%. In contrast, air transport services decreased by 0.02%.
