eMAG.ro increases its shares in Flip.ro

Flip Technologies, a marketplace devoted exclusively to sales of second hand smartphones, received capital of 8 million lei, through the conversion of a loan granted in March 2023 by the majority shareholder, Dante International, the administrator of eMAG.ro, according to data anlysed by Profit,ro.   Following that operation, the socil capital of Flip Technologies grew by 3,090 lei, reaching 85,190 lei, to which a first bond issue of 7,996,910 lei added, paid in full by Dante International. The structure of shares changed slightly, Dante International increasing its share from 50.1% to 51.9078%.   The other shareholders are: Alin Sebastian Luca – 22.1387% (from 22.97%), Georges Alexandru Moroianu – 22.1387% (from 22.97%) and Alex Nicolae Burchelia – 3.8150% (from 3.96%).   This year, the company estimates a business increase of 40-50%, from 170.9 million lei in 2022and reduction of losses which in 2022 reached 19.5 million lei. Flip.ro sells iPhone, Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi phones. Over 80% of phones bought and sold by Flip.ro are iPhone and Samsung. Every day the company buys and sells about 400 phones. Flip Technologies began its activity in 2019.
