The photovoltaic systems have a total installed capacity of over 900 kWp;   The two systems ensure an average annual production of over 960 MWh and contribute to the cut in carbon dioxide emissions of over 200 tons / year.   Enel X Romania, part of Enel X, the advanced energy services division of the Enel Group, puts into operation two photovoltaic power plants with a total installed capacity of over 900 kWp, for two Selgros stores in Mures and Timis counties.   The photovoltaic system in Ernei, Mures County, is installed on the roof of the building and includes 1,000 photovoltaic panels that will ensure an average annual production of over 470 MWh and savings in electricity bills exceeding 38,000 euros per year. At the same time, the project contributes to the cut of over 100 tons / year in carbon dioxide emissions.   In Timisoara, Timis County, Enel X Romania installs 1,014 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Selgros building, with an average annual production of about 500 MWh. The project contributes to the cut in carbon dioxide emissions by over 100 tons / year.   "The solutions proposed by Enel X contribute to the protection of the environment by reducing the carbon footprint and, at the same time, to the development of the partners' business, through an efficient electricity consumption. The savings obtained from the implementation of customized, state-of-the-art photovoltaic solutions can be reinvested in the development of the companies' activity, with an impact also on competitiveness", said Mirel Jarnea, Head of B2B Enel X Romania.   The technologies and equipment used by Enel X in this project have high performance and reliability, coming from manufacturers with global expertise in the photovoltaic systems market.   Enel X Romania portfolio includes projects implemented for the most important companies in sectors such as food, retail, logistics centres, shopping centres and office buildings. In total, about 40,000 photovoltaic panels have been installed, which contribute to the cut of about 3,700 tons / year in carbon dioxide emissions. The installation of these energy sources has led to savings of over 1 million euros for partner companies, by eliminating the costs associated with electricity transmission and distribution, as well as the contributions for green certificates and cogeneration.   Enel X Romania is part of Enel X Global Retail, Enel's global business line and a leader in the advanced energy solutions sector.
