EPP Congress - 2,000-plus delegates from more than 40 countries to gather in Bucharest for family meeting

More than 2,000 delegates from over 40 countries, including the European Commission's President, the President of the European Parliament, heads of state and government, leaders of the European People's Party affiliates, as well as European commissioners who are part of the EPP family will meet next week in Bucharest for the European People's Party Congress taking place March 6 - 7 at the Romexpo exhibition center."EPP's coming to Bucharest is a sign of solidarity of the entire European Union with Romania and the states adjacent to the war started by Russia in Ukraine," the National Liberal Party said.The schedule of the EPP Congress will include the preparations and strategy for the upcoming election to the European Parliament.The meeting in Bucharest is co-hosted by the National Liberal Party in partnership with the European People's Party.Bucharest was previously host to a European People's Congress in October 2012.
