Eurostat: Romania sees EU's largest annual construction output fall in Nov

Romania posted the sharpest annual decline in construction output among EU countries, for which data is available, in November, at 9.5%, while Slovenia came in third with 4.2%, the bloc's statistical office said on Monday.   During the same month, Bulgaria recorded the EU's second-highest year-on-year increase in construction production, at 8.6%, preceded only by Spain with 9.8%, Eurostat said in a monthly report.   On a monthly comparison basis, Slovenia's construction output marked the largest rise in the bloc, at 9.5%, whereas Romania ranked third with 4.7%.   Bulgaria, on the other hand, saw the lowest monthly gain in construction production among Southeast European (SEE) member states, for which data is available, with a growth of 1.7%.   Overall, construction output in the EU ticked up 0.9% in annual terms and by 1.3% month-on-month in November.
