Public policies and government reform think-tank Expert Forum is organizing an electoral information and assistance center for the June 9 local and European Parliament elections, where electoral and law experts will answer the most frequently asked questions related to the voting day, and will also provide assistance with reporting irregularities, the think-tank informed on Wednesday in a release.According to the cited document, the voters who need information regarding the electoral process can access the www.votcorect.ro platform where they can get answers to the most frequent questions related to the voting procedures, decisions of the electoral offices, observation or irregularity reporting rules. A form whereby any citizen can report irregularities on the voting day is also available on the website. Voters will receive assistance to file complaints, if applicable, or will be guided to exercise their right to vote.The member organizations of the VotCorect coalition will monitor the voting process with over 800 independent observers accredited in the country and abroad, who will be present at the polling stations throughout the day of June 9 to ensure the fairness of the local elections, but also to collect data that will help develop recommendations for improving the electoral process.
