Extraordinary concert Romania for Peace, on September 21, in George Enescu Square

 The extraordinary concert Romania for Peace, performed by the New Hope Orchestra under the baton of Octavian Lup, together with soprano Veronica Anusca and violinist Valentin Serban, will take place on September 21, starting at 19:00, in George Enescu Square in Bucharest.The program will include works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, George Enescu and Giacomo Puccini, as well as works such as Autumn from The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzola or Theme from Schindler's List by John Williams (Adapt. for Cello and Orchestra).Intended to celebrate World Peace Day, the concert, with free admission, is part of the Bucharest Music Film Festival, in partnership with the Bucharest City Hall, through ARCUB, the organizers inform.Celebrated annually worldwide, September 21 - World Peace Day was established in 1981 by the General Assembly of the United Nations to increase the commitment to peace beyond all differences and to contribute to building a culture of peace within and between nations and among people.
