Finance Ministry attracted on Tuesday 56.4 million lei from banks, in addition to the Monday auction

  The Finance Ministry attracted on Tuesday, 56.4 million lei from banks, in addition to Monday auctions, when it borrowed 375.5 million lei, with 6.94% per year interest, through an issue of benchmark state bonds to mature in 109 months.   The nominal value of the additional issue was 56.4 million lei, and the banks sent offers of 65 million lei.   The Finance Ministry scheduled in April 2026 loans of 3.9 million lei from commercial banks, to which can be added 15% of the nominal value obtained at reference tenders, during the additional sessions for non-competitive offers organized only for benchmark instruments.   The total amount of 3.9 billion lei foreseen in prospects for treausry bond emissions and benchmark type state bonds is 4.1 billion lei lower than the one skeduled in March 2026, for 8 billion lei and will be meant for refinancing and early return of the public debt and financing the state budget deficit.
