Foreign Minister Toiu met President Pirc Musar in Ljubljana

 Foreign Affairs Minister Oana Toiu met on Friday at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana with Slovenia's President Natasa Pirc Musar, underlining the importance of close coordination to ensure stability in the Black Sea region and the Western Balkans."Our conversation reconfirmed that Romania and Slovenia share a common vision on regional security and the future of the European project. I stressed the importance of close coordination between our states to ensure stability in the Black Sea region and the Western Balkans. We also discussed how we can cooperate to strengthen the role of the UN, Romania's role at the helm of the Central European Initiative (CEI) and the upcoming presidency of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), formats in which Slovenia is a valuable partner. I thanked President Natasa Pirc Musar for her openness to boosting bilateral relations, including by supporting economic partnerships and cultural exchanges," Toiu wrote on Facebook.Minister Oana Toiu was on an official visit to Slovenia.
