Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu on Tuesday welcomed a visiting parliamentary delegation from Iraq, led by the chair of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Iraqi legislature, Delan Ghafour Salih.According to the Romanian Foreign Ministry (MAE), the meeting occasioned a review of the latest developments in Romanian-Iraqi bilateral ties. Both sides highlighted their common interest in intensifying political and diplomatic dialogue and sectoral co-operation in areas of interest such as energy, economy, defence, education, healthcare, agriculture and home affairs.They also exchanged opinions on the latest security developments in the Middle East and their negative repercussions at regional level.
