Gold prices hit a new all-time high of 422.4014 lei/gram

The gold gram got more expensive by 2.0695 lei (0.49%) up to a quotation of 422.4014 lei from 420.3419 lei as the National Bank of Romania announced, registering a new record value.The national currency depreciated on Wednesday against the euro, which was calculated by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) at 4.9768 lei, up by 0.04 bani (+0.01%) from the previous quotation of 4.9764 lei.   In contrast, the leu gained ground against the US dollar, which was quoted at 4.7609 lei, down 4.65 bani (-0.97%) compared to Tuesday's 4.8074 lei.   The national currency also appreciated against the Swiss franc, calculated by the NBR at 5.2692 lei, down by 0.86 bani (-0.16%) from 5.2778 lei, the previous quotation.
