Government adopted the Ordinance regarding 0.5 RON reduction in fuel price

‘ The Ordinance regarding the 0.5 RON reduction in fuel prices came into effect today and I expect us to see in the following period companies applying this regulatory act’, Minister of Energy Virgil Popescu declared on Thursday after the government sitting where the ordinance was adopted.According to him, 0.25 RON will be supported by the state budget, and 0.25 RON will be a rebate which gas station chains will apply voluntarily in case they want to also obtain the 0.25 RON reduction from the state budget."The ordinance will come into effect tonight and I am expecting in the following period to see companies that are applying this ordinance in the market. Let us leave them a short respite so that the fiscal systems can be updated, in order to reflect these amendments," the Minister of Energy explained.
