Registrations for the 2026 edition of the 2026 edition of the social programme of national interest in support of couples and single women to boost birth rates through in vitro fertilisation (IVF), started on Monday August 17 and run throughout November 15, the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity (MMFTSS) reported .According to MMFTSS, applications can be submitted exclusively online, through the https://up-comunitate.ro/ platform, which will be active from the aforementioned day and time.Who can apply: married/unmarried couples or single women who meet the following eligibility conditions: at least one of the two members of the couple or the single woman is a Romanian citizen and have a domicile in Romania; the two members of the couple or the single woman are registered with the Romanian healthcare insurance system; the applicants fill in a form provided in Annex 1 pledging to carry out the recommended specialised medical procedures at a public or private healthcare facility located in Romania that is a partner of the programme accredited to carry out this type of activities.The age of the applicants must be between 24 and 42 on the date of submitting the application signing up for the programme."These conditions must be met cumulatively. Persons who, in the current year, have benefited from financial support under similar programmes carried out by other public authorities/institutions, cannot submit a registration file," the ministry representatives emphasize.The beneficiaries of the IVF 2026 Programme can register for the new session only after the completion of the settlement process related to the procedure carried out on the vouchers awarded in the previous edition, and the settlement must be registered and validated in the digital platform.During the entire period of implementation of the Program, namely 2026 - 2030, the same eligible beneficiary qualifies three times at the most.The methodology for the application of the social programme of national interest in support couples and single women to boost birth rates through in vitro fertilisation 2026 - 2030, as well as updated information can be found on the MMFTSS website.
