High interest by Moldovan companies to get listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange

  Moldovan companies wish to get listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), Bogdan Chetreanu - head of the Issuers and Public Offerings Service of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) told the specialist event "Mirsanu IPO Challenge 2024", organized on Thursday by Mirsanu.ro.Chetreanu mentioned in this regard companies Premier Energy and Maib, adding that the necessary will exists on the part of all actors involved, but the legislation still needs to be harmonized.Also, the ASF official said that another BVB listing could happen this year, noting that this would be a Romanian company with 100 percent private capital.Asked about the listing of state-owned companies on the BVB, he replied that the NRRP sets forth the requirement to have at least three companies listed, but up until now there have been no "signals to this effect".
