In the international passenger transport, the first ten airports of origin ( passengers landing in Romania), established according to the number of passengers in regular flights, were London Luton (834,790 passengers), Milan Bergamo (451,783 passengers), Munich (329,044 passengers), Brussels Charleroi (293,511 passengers), Istanbul International (289,024 passengers), Paris Beauvais (267,031 passengers), Rome Fiumicino (264,322 passengers), Vienna (256,088 passengers), Dortmund (237,577 passengers) and Madrid Barajas (236,338 passengers). According to the country of destination, most passengers on regular flights boarded for Italy (1,958,452 passengers), U.K. (1.385,592 passengers), Germany (1,228,347 passengers), Spain (892,084 passengers ), France (657,042 passengers), Turkey (403,498 passengers), Greece (359,663 passengers), Belgium (349,470 passengers), the Netherlands (310,494 passengers), Austria ( 267,597 passengers). The highest numbers of passengers in domestic transport were recorded by the airports Henri Coanda Bucharest (49.5% of total number of boarding passengers), Avram Iancu Cluj-Napoca (18.4%) and Traian Vuia Timisoara (12.7%).
