Infrastructure: Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport Constanta has investments of 17 million euros until 2023

  Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport Constanta has investments of 17.2 million euros, Bogdan Artagea the general manager of the airport declared for News.ro. The institution has also a feasibility study for a passenger terminal of 647,000 euros included in the investment program, showing whether the construction of a new terminal was opportune or the existing one should be modernized.   More money – 1.42 million euros - is foreseen for the modernization of the guard corps and for the extension of the airport check point (120,000 euros).   The tender for the feasibility study of the passenger terminal will be over by the end of November and will have to be completed in four months.   In the first 10 months of the year, the airport recorded a traffic of 7,639 landings and takeoffs, on the rise by 1,000 compared to the same period of 2020 (6,460 in 2020) and 44.692 passengers, 15.21% more than in the same period of 2020. The airport has now 263 employees.
