Oradea Airport officially inaugurated a direct flight to Milan-Bergamo, the Bihor County Council reported.According to the same source, the new route, operated by Wizz Air, will have two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays, offering passengers convenient options for both city-break trips and business travel.From June 28, the airline will expand its destination network by introducing flights to Rome Fiumicino (Italy) and Dortmund (Germany), operated on Wednesdays and Sundays. The new connections will help diversify travel options from Oradea Airport and improve access to key economic and tourist centres in Europe, the Bihor County Council noted.Currently, Wizz Air operates 219 routes from 14 Romanian airports, connecting passengers to 82 destinations in 27 countries. Over its 19 years of activity in Romania, Wizz Air has established eight operational bases and currently employs more than 1,600 staff.
