Infrastructure: Wizz Air airline to introduce in October new direct flights from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca to 5 destinations

 Wizz Air airline operator is introducing five new routes that will start operating in October, three of which will depart from Bucharest to Milan Malpensa, Stuttgart and Trieste, and the other two will reach Stuttgart and Lisbon from Cluj-Napoca.According to a press release of the company sent on Friday, flights from Bucharest to Milan Malpensa will be every day, to Stuttgart on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and to Trieste on Tuesdays and Saturdays.Also, from October 2024, there will be direct flights from Cluj-Napoca to Stuttgart every Thursday and Sunday, and to Lisbon every Monday and Friday.Ticket prices start at 99 lei on the Bucharest - Milan Malpensa and Bucharest - Trieste routes and reach 129 lei for Cluj-Napoca - Stuttgart, 159 lei for Bucharest - Stuttgart and 189 lei for Cluj-Napoca - Lisbon.The airline also mentions that, this autumn, two other routes will be scheduled from Cluj-Napoca, which will thus complete the options available to passengers: the one to Vienna, from October 1 (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), and the one to Lyon, from October 28 (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
