INSCOP poll: 40.5% of Romanians would vote for AUR, 17.3% PNL and 13.7% PSD

 Over 40% of Romanians would vote for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), 17.3% for the National Liberal Party (PNL), and 13.7% for the Social Democratic Party (PSD) if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, according to an opinion poll conducted by INSCOP Research.The poll shows that if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday: 40.5% of voters would support AUR (up from 38.1% in May 2025), 17.3% would vote for PNL (up from 16% in May), 13.7% for PSD (down from 17.4%), 13.1% for the Save Romania Union (USR) (up from 12.2%).The Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) would receive 5.2% (up from 4.5%), the Young People's Party (POT) - 4.2% (up from 3.2%), SENS - 2.4% (down from 3.3%), SOS Romania - 1.9% (down from 2.5%).Additionally, 1.4% would vote for an independent candidate (slightly down from 1.5%), and 0.5% would choose another party (down from 1.3%).As for voter turnout intentions, on a scale from 1 to 10 (where 1 means 'definitely will not vote' and 10 means 'definitely will vote'), responses were: 14.9% chose 1, 1.6% - 2, 0.6% - 3, 0.6% - 4, 2.8% - 5, 2.5% - 6, 2.1% - 7, 4.2% - 8, 2.4% - 9, 67.3% chose 10, 0.8% said they didn't know or didn't answer.The Informat.ro - INSCOP Research Barometer is a monthly opinion poll conducted by INSCOP Research at the request of the news platform Informat.ro, in partnership with the Strategic Thinking Group think tank.The survey was conducted between June 20 and 26, 2025, using the CATI method (computer-assisted telephone interviews). The simple, stratified sample included 1,150 people, representative of the significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) of Romania's non-institutionalised population aged 18 and over. The maximum margin of error is ?2.9%, at a 95% confidence level.
