Romanian president Klaus Iohannis had a meeting in New York on Wednesday with Armenian prime minister Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, with whom he discussed, among other things, regional stability and security, as well as the development of bilateral relations and cooperation.Klaus Iohannis posted about his discussion with Armenian PM on his X account.On Wednesday, Klaus Iohannis delivered a speech at the UN General Assembly in which he pleaded for the support of Ukraine as long as needed in its war with Russia and for the cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, by concluding a peace agreement that would allow the release of the Hamas hostages and the transportation of humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza.At the same time, he pleaded for more cooperation and solidarity, which he said will always be the answer to the world's problems."Our main challenge is to find the much-needed solutions to restore and protect peace. Otherwise, international order and international law are wasted.
