Lighthouse PR becomes Forscope's communication agency in Romania

November 2, 2023

Lighthouse PR, the public relations company member of the CCNE network, has been selected as the communication agency for Forscope Romania, the local branch of the largest pre-owned software broker in Central and Eastern Europe. The partnership, which began this summer, is focused on creating and implementing a PR strategy with the main goal of informing the public about the benefits of using second-hand software.   The role of Lighthouse PR is to support Forscope Romania in its commitment to accurately educate about the industry in which it operates. Second-hand software, also known as used or pre-owned software, can offer several benefits to both private companies and public budgets in Romania. Cost savings, access to premium software, faster implementation, and flexibility, as well as sustainability are some key advantages of these products.   "Forscope Romania was looking for a partner who truly understands our business DNA and has proven experience in strategic communication. The Lighthouse PR team met all our criteria, demonstrating a remarkable understanding of the industry we operate in and the overall economic landscape. Corporate communication is a natural extension of our business goals, essential for supporting our marketing efforts," said Ionu? Les, Country Manager for Romania at Forscope.   For almost a decade, Forscope has been providing support to businesses and public authorities in procuring competitive software solutions at costs over 70% lower than the price of acquiring a new product. Founded in the Czech Republic and with a presence in nine European countries, Forscope has supplied second-hand software products to over 50,000 clients in Europe to date.   Second-hand software products perform just as well as new ones, making them the preferred choice for organizations looking to optimize IT costs. They represent a previously owned option, held by a different owner who has decided to sell it, the most common reason being that the product becomes redundant for the initial owner.   "We are thrilled to have been chosen as the communication partner for Forscope Romania, a company with top experts in the field, initiative, and a lot of courage in a challenging and unpredictable market. Both public and private organizations want to save money on software procurement without compromising on quality and, most importantly, in full legality. Forscope delivers all of this in a comprehensive and unique package of services at the local level. It is time for Romania to take advantage of what Western countries have been benefiting from for many years, including as part of the circular economy: second-hand software products," stated Ana Maria Gardiner, Managing Partner, Lighthouse PR.   About Forscope Forscope is the largest software broker in the Central and Eastern European region. The company focuses on providing second-hand software products to companies of all sizes and public institutions. Forscope's headquarters are located in Brno, Czech Republic, and the company operates in 9 other countries in the region. Forscope is a certified Microsoft partner and holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification, as well as the ISO 27001.   About Lighthouse PR Lighthouse PR is a Romanian strategic business communication company, focused on corporate communication, B2B and B2C communication, reputation management, employer branding, digital and social media communication, event organization, investor relations, crisis management, and training. The company operates in sectors such as finance, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals, retail & FMCG, manufacturing, real estate, construction, and services. In 2022, Lighthouse PR joined the Crisis Communication Network Europe (CCNE), becoming the sole Romanian member of the group and the first in Central and Eastern Europe. LIGHTHOUSE PR holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system.
