Maia Sandu: The support platform for the Republic of Moldova created at the initiative of Germany, France and Romania will gather on 17th September

The support platform for Moldova, created at the initiative of Germany, France and Romania will gather on 17th September, stated president Maia Sandu on Wednesday night,  at the press conference organised in Kishinev together with the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz. .   'Germany, together with France and Romania is the co-founder of the Support Platform for Moldova, an initiative which contributed significantly to the consolidation of our capacity to face the challenges of the last three years. This platform, which now becomes the Platform for Partnership for Moldova, will be gathered on 17th September', stated the president of the Republic of Moldova quoted by https://www.moldpres.md/.   The support platform for Moldova is an initiative of Romania, Germany and France which aims at offering immediate political, financial and material assistance as well as expertise for the process of democratic reform, on the part of institutions and member states of the EU, of the G7 states, of the international financial institutions and the international organisations as well as other development partners. The purpose of organising the conferences is to mobilise, concentrate and coordinate the political, tehnical and financial support of the developed countries for the Republic of Moldova, according to Moldpres.   The first edition of the Ministerial Conference of the Support Platform for the Republic of Moldova took place in Berlin, on 5th April 2022. The second edition took place in Bucharest, on 15th July 2022. The third edition of the conference took place in Paris, on 21 November 2022 and the last edition was hosted in Kishinev on 17th October 2023.
