Medlife increases stock packages in Genesys and Almina companies

Medlife, the private medical service market leader in Romania, announced that it increases its stock participation in two companies, Genesys and Almina. “Thus, Medlife increases by 10% its package of shares in Genesys company, one of the biggest medical private service operator in the western part of Romania, now holding a package of 83%,” the group announces.   Genesys has been part of Medlife System since 2011, when representatives announced the takeover of the 55% package. Medlife also announces the takeover of a package of shares of 10% in Almina company, reaching a participation share of 90%.   In 2017, Medlife purchased an 80% package of Almina Trading, a company with 8 medical centers and two labs, in Dambovita and Ilfov counties. Additional packages of shares of Genesys and Almina groups were obtained by Medlife following an exchange with its own Medlife shares bought back according to the decision of the extraordinary shareholders' meeting of September 29, 2021.
