MedLife, the largest private medical services network in Romania, has announced the opening of a new hyperclinic in Bucharest, following an investment of over EUR 1 million. Located at 40 soseaua Panduri, Sector 5, the new unit provides patients with access to integrated medical services, including laboratory tests, specialist consultations, and functional monitoring. The newly opened unit has also integrated the activity of the former MedLife Panduri clinic, which previously operated in the area. With this opening, MedLife reaches 37 hyperclinics nationwide, including eight in Bucharest, strengthening its position as leader of Romania’s private medical services market. “The opening of a new large-scale unit in Bucharest is a natural step in our development strategy and comes in response to patients’ need to access an extensive portfolio of medical services as close to home as possible. Through the hyperclinic network developed in the Capital, we are now able to be closer to patients and provide them with rapid access to integrated services, regardless of the area where they are located. The new hyperclinic has been developed according to the one-stop-shop model, ensuring easy access to numerous medical specialties, laboratory tests, and advanced technologies,” said Dorin Preda, Deputy General Manager, MedLife Group. MedLife Panduri Hyperclinic covers an area of approximately 1,000 sqm, is organised across three floors, and includes 16 consultation rooms, a room for minor procedures, and a dedicated room for collecting biological samples. Patients have access to 27 medical specialties, including obstetrics and gynaecology, internal medicine, rheumatology, diabetes and nutrition diseases, neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, nephrology, and others. The diagnostic component is supported by modern technology and multidisciplinary teams with national and international training. By integrating services available both on a payment basis and through subscription plans for corporate clients, the new hyperclinic contributes to improving access to integrated medical services for people in Bucharest and the surrounding areas. Through this investment, MedLife strengthens its presence in Bucharest and continues the development of its network, reaching 37 hyperclinics nationwide. The group introduced this concept to define large-scale medical units that provide patients with a one-stop-shop model, from tests and consultations to investigations and monitoring, contributing to a complete medical experience in a single location.
