The minister of investments and European projects (MIPE) finalised the legal documents of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and sent them to the European Commission on Friday night, in the context where they had to be finalised and sent by Romania this week so that PNRR stays within the present calendar approved for September, said the minister, Cristian Ghinea on Facebook. The minister of investments and European projects said that during this week, while the USR PLUS leaders and those of PNL discussed the present political crisis, he ignored the political conflict and focused, together with the MIPE officials and other ministries, on the finalisation of the PNRR legal documents, as the non-observance of the calendar agreed with the EU for the plan to be sent would have blocked the approval of PNRR by the European Commission in September. The minister mentioned the fact that the Romania observed the calendar approved with the European Commission for the PNRR legal documents means that the European Commission is going to approve the document during this month, without mentioning a certain date.
