The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, is paying a working visit to Washington (USA), between September 11-13, 2025, to strengthen economic and financial dialogue with American partners and attract new investors in key sectors for Romania, such as energy, infrastructure or technology."The visit to Washington D.C. has a strategic stake, being an essential step in cultivating solid relations with the American administration and the main financial actors on Wall Street. Through this direct and substantial dialogue, we aim to present investment opportunities and strengthen the trust of our American partners. Attracting long-term investments and strengthening bilateral economic cooperation are fundamental pillars for the sustainable development of our country. We are confident that this mission will open new financing channels and contribute to Romania's economic growth," pointedout Alexandru Nazare.According to a press release from the Ministry of Finance, sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, the visit's agenda includes meetings with representatives of the financial and banking environment, with government institutions and with potential investors.The program also includes discussions with major American financiers interested in the investment opportunities offered by the Romanian economy. The main objective of these meetings is to align Romania's strategic investment objectives with the interests and resources of major financial institutions.The agenda also includes meetings with the US Department of Commerce.
