Mission wrap-up ceremony for Finnish Air Force, RAF detachments to be held at Mihail Kogalniceanu base

A mission wrap-up ceremony for the Finnish Air Force and the British Royal Air Force detachments deployed to Romania will take place on Tuesday in Constanta, specifically from 10:00 a.m., at the 57th Capitan Aviator Constantin Cantacuzino Air Base in Mihail Kogalniceanu.The roughly 260-strong British detachment (pilots and technical personnel) with six Eurofighter Typhoons, and the Finnish detachment consisting of approximately 90 personnel (pilots and technical-engineering personnel) with their seven F-18 Hornets conducted together with their Romanian Air Force peers Enhanced Air Policing missions under NATO command, the Romanian National Defence Ministry said.
