The international exhibition "Romania - Poland, a Century of History. Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and the Royal Family of Romania", which brings together over a hundred heritage items from the two countries, has been extended until March 10, announced the National Museum of Romania's History (MNIR) on Thursday.Among the items in the collection of the "Jozef Pilsudski" Museum on display in Bucharest is the marshal's sword."This cultural item, a Polish symbol, rich in history, is displayed alongside portraits of Marshal Pilsudski and the Romanian Royal Family, statuettes, medals, decorations and diplomas, plaques, diplomatic documents, photo albums and photographs, brochures, maps, newspapers, flags, uniforms of Kings Ferdinand I and Carol II, as well as Queen Maria's, weapons and insignia," the museum informs in a Facebook post.Partners of the exhibition include the Romanian Cultural Institute, the National Military Museum "King Ferdinand I," the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peles National Museum, the Polish Institute in Bucharest, as well as collectors Daniel-Cosmin Obreja and George Trohani.Opened on December 5, the exhibition is organised as part of the Romania - Poland Cultural Season 2024-2025.
