Victor Chirila, the ambassador of Moldova in Romania, requested the support of Romanian authorities to open polling stations in big cities in Romania, in order to ensure the best conditions for Moldova's citizens to vote abroad, Moldpres informs. The request was made at a meeting held on Monday at Cotroceni Palace with Luminita Odobescu, Romanian presidential councillor and former foreign minister. During talks, the two officials approached topics concerning Moldova's European agenda, with accent laid on the support offered by Romania in the process of EU integration, according to the Facebook page of Moldova's Embassy in Romania, Moldpres informs. 16 polling stations were opened in Romania for last year's presidential elections.
