MoU signed with Saudi Arabia on development of Romanian intermodal transport

Romania initialed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia on logistics cooperation, Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu announced on Facebook."Concrete measures to expand economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia! To this end, I signed today together with Saudi Transportation Minister Saleh Al-Jasser a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of logistics services. (...) At the meeting today we also discussed the implementation in Romania of the newest methods of providing and operating logistics services, with emphasis on the exchange of experience, but also on finding solutions to harmonize policies and regulations regarding logistics services. We once again conveyed that Romania is a reliable economic partner, and investors can find medium and long-term opportunities here," Grindeanu wrote.According to the cited source, the document signed by the two officials will contribute to the development of intermodal transport in Romania.
