Nicolae Ciuca: We have over 90 billion euros at our disposal to develop and modernize Romania

Premier Nicolae Ciuca presented, at the League of Local Elected, organized by PNL in Brasov, on Thursday, the governing report for the first half of the year and pointed out that, after 6 months, Romania has the biggest economic growth in EU and over 90 billion euros for Romania's development.   The head of the Executive spoke about the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the fact that “the government has increased the absorption rate of European funds by 7% compared to 6 months ago, while payment estimates communicated to the European Commission already cover the necessary expenses statements for 2022.   In his opinion, PNRR represents the essential resource for the country's development. The extension of water and sewerage networks will be made by means f the “Anghel Saligny”National Investment Program, for which 22.5 billion lei has been allocated from the state budget. 2,064 financing requests for projects in the water and sewerage fields are being analyzed,” said premier Ciuca.
