Nicusor Dan: Romania - ready to contribute to efforts of achieving and maintaining peace in Ukraine

 President Nicusor Dan participated on Thursday, in a videoconference format, in the meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing", in which context he stated that Romania is ready to contribute to the efforts of achieving and maintaining peace in Ukraine and to the objective of deterring Russia."We all have sent today a strong message of unity, readiness and mobilization, as our joint work is being concentrated towards reaching a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Romania is ready to contribute to the efforts of achieving and maintaining peace in Ukraine and to the aim of deterring Russia. Continuing support for Ukraine means ensuring our own security. Pressure on Russia must continue, including through strong sanctions. Romania fully supports the adoption of the 18th package as soon as possible," Nicusor Dan wrote on the X platform.The meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" was convened by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Keir Starmer, together with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the topic of support for Ukraine.
