Nuclearelectrica intends to procure IT maintenance and repair services for the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant (CNE Cernavoda), with an estimated value of RON 10.3 million, VAT excluded. According to a procurement notice published in the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP), the contract is to run for 48 months.The notice states that the acquisition concerns technical IT maintenance and repair services for servers and equipment, as well as technical support services for software used at CNE Cernavoda.The contract is divided into two lots: one for maintenance and repair of IT infrastructure, estimated at RON 8.73 million (VAT excluded); the other for software support services, valued at RON 1.59 million (VAT excluded).The contract will be awarded through open tender, based on the best quality-price ratio. The deadline for submitting bids is August 10, 2026, 15:00.Nuclearelectrica's main activity is the production of power and heat through nuclear processes. Its principal operational site is the Cernavoda NPP subsidiary, where the company owns and operates two functional nuclear reactors (Unit 1 and Unit 2).
