Number of delisted companies increases by 10.44pct Jan-Oct

 The number of delisted companies at the national level increased by 10.44% in the first ten months of 2022, compared to the same period last year, up to 58,276 delistings, according to the statistics provided by the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).The most deletions were registered in the city of Bucharest - 9,464 (plus 9.94% compared to January-October 2021) and in the counties of Cluj - 2,755 (plus 22.44%), Constanta - 2,559 (plus 9.83%) and Timisoara - 2,540 (plus 6.01%).At the opposite side of the scale, the fewest deletions were recorded in the counties of Calarasi - 481 (up by 5.25% compared to the first ten months of last year), Ialomita - 482 (plus 16.71%) and Covasna - 486 (plus 10.20%).The most significant increases in the number of deletions were recorded in the counties of Tulcea (plus 30.63%), Botosani (plus 23.25%) and Vaslui (plus 22.67%). During the analyzed period, decreases in the number of registered companies were recorded only in the counties of Caras-Severin (minus 15.48%), Braila (minus 9.43%) and Alba (minus 8.81%).By field of activity, the highest number of deletions was recorded in wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle and motorcycle repair - 15,812 (plus 8.22% compared to January-October 2021), constructions - 5,302 (plus 8.47 %) and professional, scientific and technical activities - 4,830 (plus 9.1%).In October 2022, 6,315 company deletions were recorded, most in Bucharest (1,041) and in the counties of Ilfov (382), Cluj (342) and Constanta (253).
