Parliamentary elections in Moldova/President Dan: I congratulate all Moldovan citizens for their firm pro-European vote

   President Nicusor Dan congratulated Moldovan citizens on Monday for their "firm" vote in favour of continuing the country's European path, expressed in Sunday's parliamentary elections."I congratulate the citizens of the Republic of Moldova for your mobilisation and for your firm vote in favour of continuing your country's European path. You have written a page of history and we know that it was not easy. You have made your voice heard and you should be proud of yourselves. I also congratulate the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and President Maia Sandu for the good organisation and conduct of the elections and for the way in which the threats were handled," Nicusor Dan wrote on Monday in a message posted on the X platform.He reiterated that Romania will continue to stand by the Republic of Moldova."I want to assure all citizens of the Republic of Moldova, regardless of their political opinion, that Romania will continue to help Moldova on its European path and will continue projects that will bring prosperity and a better quality of life for the Bessarabians," the head of state added in a video message attached to the post.
