Parliament's plenary session approved on Wednesday the draft law for next year's state budget. 299 MPs voted "in favour" and 82 "against".On Tuesday, the joint parliamentary budget and finance committees gave a favourable report on the draft law.The government approved on 15 December the draft laws on the state budget and the state social insurance budget for 2024. Parliament's plenary session also approved on Wednesday the draft law for the 2024 state social insurance budget. There were 294 votes "in favour" and 84 "against".The draft law provides for and authorizes the revenues by chapters and sub-chapters and expenditures by purpose for the state social insurance budget, the unemployment insurance budget, the overview of the budgets of public institutions partially financed from own revenues, as well as specific regulations for the budget year 2024.
