Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan met President of the Republic of Moldova Parliament Igor Grosu, at the Victoria Governmental Palace on Wednesday.According to a Government press release, the two officials discussed the political situation in the Republic of Moldova following the recent parliamentary elections, in which the pro-European party, Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), emerged victorious.Prime Minister Bolojan congratulated Igor Grosu on the election results and on the public support shown for the Republic of Moldova's European path.'During the meeting, the officials also addressed topics related to the continuation and expansion of connectivity and cross-border cooperation projects, the strengthening of bilateral economic relations, as well as Romania's firm support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova and its accession to the European Union,' the press release reads.
