PM Bolojan meets Spanish ambassador, talks focus on developing cooperation in energy, agriculture and food industry

  Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan received on Tuesday, at Victoria Palace of Government, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Romania, Jose Antonio Hernandez Perez-Solorzano, for talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and identifying new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.According to a Government release, the agenda included developing economic collaboration in strategic areas such as energy, agriculture and the food industry, with the aim of increasing Romania's production and export capacity and making better use of both countries' economic potential.The discussions also covered ways in which Romania can draw on Spain's experience and best practices in regional development, innovation and investment attraction."Another topic of discussion was the new EU multiannual financial framework and its related annual budget, with a view to ensuring efficient coordination to capitalise on available funding opportunities," the release states.On the occasion of Spain's upcoming National Day, Prime Minister Bolojan conveyed his wishes of peace and prosperity to Ambassador Perez-Solorzano and reiterated Romania's interest in further consolidating bilateral relations.The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Mihai Jurca.  (Photo:https://gov.ro/ro)
