Romania will keep on supporting the Ukrainian refugees, the prime minister Marcel Ciolacu said Friday in northeastern city of Iasi, where he visited the construction site of the Regional Emergency Hospital.During a press conference, Marcel Ciolacu said that 84,000 Ukrainian citizens currently settled in Romania after the outbreak of the war, on February 24, 2022."You know very well, of the 84,000 who remained on the territory of Romania, many of them are mothers with children, with grandchildren, we enrolled them in the school system, even in their mother tongue, regardless of the level of education. So far we have had an effort from the state budget through European funds. We will continue to support Ukraine, especially in the humanitarian area, as it is normal. We hope that we won't have to deal with an exodus again, as it was at the beginning of the war," Ciolacu added.
