PM Ciolacu, working visit to Brussels, discussions with head of EC, Ursula von der Leyen

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that on Wednesday and Thursday he will pay a working visit to Brussels, where he will meet, among others, with the President of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, among the topics of discussion being the state of Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Program (PNRR) implementation and Romania's portfolio in the future European Commission."I will leave in the afternoon for Brussels for tomorrow's meeting with the President of the European Commission, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen. We will discuss the status of the PNRR, together with the Minister of Investments and European Projects and the Minister of Finance. We will also analyze the latest developments regarding Payment Request 3, specifically the situations related to the management of state-owned energy and transport companies. Obviously, I will also discuss Romania's portfolio in the future European Commission," said Marcel Ciolacu, on Wednesday, in the Government meeting.Prime Minister Ciolacu stated that, after this discussion, he will submit "the name and nomination of the future EU Commissioner from Romania".
