Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan gave assurances that Romania will submit feasible projects through the East Invest program. He was asked what chances Romania has to attract funds through the program for the eastern regions of the European Union, given that this program was initially created for the Baltic states, Poland, Finland and the border areas with Belarus and Russia."Romania will certainly submit projects that are feasible. We have important private companies in these areas, we have entrepreneurs who have proven over the years that even in unfavorable conditions they have managed to develop their businesses, to consolidate their businesses, and I am convinced that part of these amounts will be accessed by companies from Romania," Ilie Bolojan declared on Thursday, in a press conference at the headquarters of the Permanent Representation of Romania to the European Union. In this context, the Prime Minister thanked the Minister of Investments and European Projects and the Brussels Representation for the way they represented our country during this period, assuring, as is normal, that the eastern flank means the countries that border Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea, and this has always been Romania's position. The Head of the Executive participated on Thursday at the Eastern Border Regions High-Level Conference, an event dedicated to the launch of the European East Invest program.
