PM Pavel Filip had a phone call with President Klaus Iohannis, congratulated him on the occasion of National Day of Romania

Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip today had a phone call with the Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis. Pavel Filip congratulated Klaus Iohannis on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, marked on December 1, and the Greater Union Centennial, according to a press release. The Moldovan PM thanked for the constant support Romania granted to the Republic of Moldova. The most recent proof of support was the promulgation yesterday of the law on the construction of the Union Motorway: Targu Mures – Iasi – Ungheni, which also included a bridge over the Prut River at Ungheni. Besides this, there are also several more important projects in their final stage, such as: the cut of the roaming tariffs, the programme meant for the rehabilitation of kindergartens and schools, as well as energy interconnection projects. The PM also expressed his gratitude for the support Romania granted to Moldova in its European aspirations. Pavel Filip and Klaus Iohannis agreed to have an intense dialogue during the time when Romania will be holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in order to advance the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.
