PNL would hold four portfolios, aiming for Finance, Internal Affairs, and Regional Development. USR is expected to receive three ministries, and UDMR two. PSD would agree to Bolojan as prime minister only if it regains control of the position in two years. However, the liberal leader reportedly does not want a fixed deadline for the rotation. Sources also state that Bolojan has secured veto power over the composition of the new government. However, according to Hotnews.ro sources from within the four parties, PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR and National Minorities, they have reached an agreement for a government newspaper. An informal National Political Council of PSD has been held to decide the party’s mandate for Thursday’s consultations at Cotroceni Palace, but the PSD leaders discussed for an hour and a half on Tuesday evening whether they would be part of the future government, without making a final decision. PSD will call an internal referendum after Thursday’s consultations at Cotroceni, and only then will PSD members determine whether to enter the government
