President Klaus Iohannis will consult early next year with the political parties on the project “Educated Romania”, due to be released on December 5, according to official sources. The mentioned sources specified that the “Educated Romania” project will be publicly debated three months after its launch, during which consultations with the political parties will take place. “We do not just want a political agreement. Three months of debate will follow meant for us to see what people think. The President will mediate the discussion with the Executive and the Legislative (…) The form in which President Iohannis will hold the consultations [with the parties, ed.n.] will be communicated when the time comes. The consultations will take place early next year,” the official sources specified. The “Educated Romania” project will be launched on December 5 at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace. On this occasion, the vision and strategy for education and research for the 2018-2030 horizon will be presented, and seven technical reports on teaching career, educational management, access and outcome equity, vocational and technical education, higher education, early education, student and pupil assessment.
