President Nicusor Dan estimates that ‘in ten days’ Romania will have a sworn-in government. ‘We are in a phase of discussions. I appreciate that everybody is reasonable, I am talking ab out the party leaders. We expect to come with the assumed set of, measures. There will be, let’s say a draft, tomorrow about the way things will go. It will not be a final variant (of the fiscal measures –editor’s note).It will be a draft agreed by the parties’ said the head of state on Sunday.According to the president’ at present, all are working scenarios’.‘The moment you see a package assumed by the parties, this will be, but now they are working scenarios. Everything now is in a stage of discussion’ reiterated President Nicusor Dan.A first draft of the future governing programme is expected on Monday, as Nicusor Dan stated this week.'We want to have a first draft of the government programme on Monday (...) We haven't discussed the names (of the prime minister - editor's note) so far. All discussions have been on the programme', the head of state said on Wednesday in his first press conference held at the Cotroceni Palace. A day later, on Thursday, the president said that all the parties currently in talks - PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR - want to enter the government. 'There will be a simultaneous discussion with the discussion on the other chapters of the programme, to be finalised on Monday. There will be a long discussion on Monday afternoon on the whole package,' Nicusor Dan explained at the time.
