Price of gold reaches historical maximum on Monday, of 303.8212 RON/gram

The price for a gram of gold rose on Monday by 6.9502 RON (2.34%), reaching 303.8212 RON, from 296.8710 RON, as announced on Wednesday by the National Bank of Romania (BNR), once again recording a record value.The national currency appreciated on Monday in relation to the euro, which was calculated by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) at 4.9678 RON, down by 0.48 bani (-0.10%) compared to the previous quotation of 4,9726 RON.Compared to the dollar, the value of the RON decreased, the American currency being quoted at 4.5710 RON, up by 3.97 bani (0.88%), compared to the previous meeting, when it stood at 4.5313 RON.The national currency also depreciated against the Swiss franc, calculated by the BNR at 5.2353 RON, up by 7.19 bani (1.39%), compared to the previous quote of 5.1634 RON.
