Primark to open its third store in Romania

Primark, the international fashion retailer, has announced plans to open a third store in Romania, located in Iulius Town Timisoara. The store will be Primark’s first location in the west of the country and is expected to open in the second half of 2024. The news follows Primark’s successful entry into the Romanian market in 2022, with the opening of its first location in ParkLake Shopping Centre, Bucharest. Just six months later, the retailer opened a second store in the city, in aFI Cotroceni Shopping Centre in June 2023.   Recruitment has now started for the new store and job opportunities can be found on the Primark Careers website, beginning with management positions. Further roles will go live early next year, and employment opportunities include visual merchandisers, human resources, and retail assistants. a role in Primark is an opportunity to build a lifelong career in retail. Primark offers extensive in-house training programmes, as well as learning and development opportunities across all levels.   Spanning approximately 3,000 sq. metres of retail space, the new store will offer the great in-store experience that Primark is known and loved for. Customers can look forward to the latest trends in fashion as well as everyday essentials across clothing, beauty, lifestyle, and homeware.   Maciej Podwojski, Head of CEE, Primark said: “We are delighted to announce our next store in Romania which will open in Iulius Town, Timisoara in the second part of 2024. We are excited to bring the Primark brand to customers in the region and are looking forward to growing our Primark team with people that are passionate about fashion and retail.
