Prime Minister Bolojan, working dinner with Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban, at Victoria Palace

Prime Ministers Ilie Bolojan and Viktor Orban discussed the growth in commercial activity between Romania and Hungary and the development of joint infrastructure and interconnection projects during a working dinner at the Victoria Palace of Government.According to a press release from the Romanian Government, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan received his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban at the Victoria Palace, in the context of the latter's private visit to Romania.The two officials discussed the relations between Romania and Hungary, emphasizing concrete projects that can bring real benefits to the citizens of both countries, regardless of ethnicity, the government statement said."The Romanian prime minister underlined that Romania wants a constructive relationship with Hungary, centered on real cooperation and clear results," the cited source points out.The talks focused mainly on enhancing trade relations - which will exceed EUR 13.3 billion in 2024 - and the development of joint infrastructure and interconnection projects.Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan also presented the main directions of Romania's position in the EU, emphasizing the need for unity and solidarity in the face of current challenges, the government statement further shows.   The Hungarian Prime Minister will deliver his traditional speech on Saturday at the "Tusvanyos" Summer University, in Baile Tusnad, now in its 34th edition (Photo:www.gov.ro)
