Publicis Romania - Agency of the Year at Internetics 2023

Internetics announced its winners at the Internetics 2023 Awards Gala on November 28th at NORD Events Center by Globalworth. The event delivered 36 trophies, including 15 Gold and 21 Silver awards. Publicis Romania was crowned Agency of the Year, securing 6 trophies and one nomination, while OLX ONLINE SERVICES was named Digital Client of the Year, winning 4 trophies: 3 Gold and 1 Silver. The festival, initiated by The Institute, annually rewards digital intelligence and excellence in online communication.

In its 23rd edition, Internetics awarded 15 agencies: Cheil Centrade | DDB Romania | dentsu Romania | Jam Session Agency | KUBIS | Leo Burnett | McCANN Health Brain and Heart | MRM | Ogilvy | Publicis Romania | Saatchi Creative Hub | Sector7 HUB | Tribal Worldwide Romania | v8 | VMLY&R. Publicis Romania and Jam Session Agency jointly secured the first position (tied in points, decided based on the regulations in the race for the "Agency of the Year" title), with MRM in second place, and Leo Burnett in third.

In the clients' ranking, OLX ONLINE SERVICES took the top spot, followed by HCL Online Advertising in second place and Kaufland Romania in third.

Publicis Romania was named Agency of the Year, earning points from awards for projects such as T.R.A.I. - Neighborhood’s Voice for Storia (Gold in the Best Website Content section, Gold in Others in the DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS category, Silver in Best Community Engagement), Neighbors, Advice, and Suggestions Department by T.R.A.I. - brand: Storia (Gold in Online Video Series), TOP 100 HITS from Carrefour (2 Silver - in Online Video Series and Retail, in the DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS category), and the nomination for Unmask Fears from Kinder in the newly introduced section - Act and React.

Jam Session Agency won the trophy for BEST DIGITAL CAMPAIGN with the project Your place is in the kitchen only when you want it to be. - brand: Tazz, a project that also won Gold in the E-Commerce section within the DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS category, Silver in Viral Video, and a nomination in Influencer Marketing. The agency also won 3 Silver trophies: one for the project No matter the generation. (brand: FLIP) in the Online Single Video section and two for Unfollow Self: Hate from ING Bank in Online Single Video and Services (in the DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS category). The agency also received three nominations for the campaigns Cooking takes time. Time from a woman you love. (in the Act and React section for Tazz), Fraudy Tales in Minecraft (in Gamification) and Free@ING (in Services), the last two for ING Bank.

MRM won a total of 6 Silver trophies for projects: Fainoşag – The first mindfulness app from Transylvania from Pate Ardealul (Mobile Apps and Digital Brand Experience sections, with an additional nomination in Best App Design), KFC Crave Run (in the Digital Brand Experience, Gamification, and Restaurants sections), and Romania, The Most Beautiful Dental Clinic In The World (in the Online Single Video section). The agency also received two more nominations for the campaign TOURISTSGO.RO for Electric Castle and Open for new, open for technology for Vodafone Business.

Leo Burnett, rated third in the agency points ranking, won Gold and Silver for THE CHEESE PAIRS UP from Hochland in the FMCG - Food section of the DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS category and in Best Community Association, with an additional Silver for Old Spice - BEAT THE SKUNK in Social Media Special Mechanics (which also received a nomination in Best Community Engagement). The DIGITAL XMAS TREE and Z EXHIBITION projects - brand: Pepsi, Allout FactZ - brand: Samsung and Fixodent Camp for the company of the same name also earned nominations and points for the agency.

Gold trophy winners also included v8 for Kaufland Dance Talk (Social Media Special Mechanics and Best Community Engagement), VMLY&R for Pepco - Illiterate Ads (Social Media Special Mechanics, Act and React, and Internetics Digital for Good), McCANN Health Brain and Heart for Regina Maria The Healthcare Network - #WithMomToMammo (Influencer Marketing), KUBIS for Netflix - The Privacy Manifesto (Online Single Video), Sector7 HUB for PAGO & VISA - It’s horror to pay any other way (Services), Tribal Worldwide Romania & DDB Romania for McDonald's - Looking for experiences, not experience (in Restaurants), and Ogilvy for Asociatia Niciodată Singur - Reversed AI to reverse loneliness (Social Campaigns).

The competition also had a set of special awards:
